Gauge Chart - Analytics

Purpose

Gauge charts are used to display a metric against a gauge scale. They can be used to show the actual revenue attainment against annual plan numbers. 

Field Description

Setup Tab            

1. Select Chart Type: The selected chart type will appear here, selecting the dropdown will show other chart types
2. Stage values based on: Options are: Record Count, Sum of, Average of, Min, Max
3. Gauge range minimum: Set a minimum number value
4. Gauge range maximum: Set a maximum number value
5. Show gauge value as percentage: Check the box to display as a percentage
6. Filter Data: Optional: allows you to set a filter on the data source used for the chart
7. Time Filter: Optional: allows for setting a time limit for the data in the chart

Customize tab

1. Chart title:  Enter a name for your chart    
2. Low range: Set the color and low range maximum number
3. Medium range: Set the color and medium range maximum number
4. High range: Set the color and high range maximum number
5. Currency symbol: Set the desired currency symbol
6. Separator symbol: Set the desired separator symbol
7. Decimal symbol: Set the desired decimal symbol
8. Decimal places: Select the number of decimal places
