To help you get started with Openprise quickly, we've created recipes you can use to implement standard functions such as cleaning and segmentation.
To use a recipe:
- Go to the Recipes tab under the Automation menu pull-down in Openprise.
- Select the recipe that matches your target system and function
- Click the Create Job From Recipe button. This clones the recipe.
- Supply a new job name
- Supply the data source containing the data you want used by the recipe. Recipes are built to work with specific data sources, so please make your recipe selection accordingly.
Once the new recipe-based job is created, review the tasks to make sure you are happy with the task configuration. Feel free to change any configurations you desire.
When testing the new job, it is best to add a filter to the first task to run the recipe on a subset of your data.
Once the test is run, please check the outputs to verify your data is being transformed according to your expectations. Then remove the filter to run on your entire data source, and recheck the results.
Finally, when you are happy with your results, create a new job that takes the output of the recipe-based job as input, and updates your target system.
